Definitions,.", The words "soft drinksu 8S used in this ordinance, shall include all liquors, liquids ox compounds com- monly known as soft drinks, to be used for beverage purposes and not defined to be intoxicating liquors or non-intoxicating malt liquor under Chapter 340, Laws of Minnesota. Eecti_~~ Licen~-= Fee~ No person shall conduct or operate as owner or manager any place where soft drinks are mixed, sold or dispensed for consumption on or off the premises, whether conducted in connection with another business or not, -until a license has been secured therefor as provided herein, subject to the provisions hereof, and the annual fee of 1/;/(<. (!-() Dollars ($ At) r::-C":>) has been paid therefor. Sectipn_3~ Applic~tJoB-i9~~Licens!. Application for such license shall be made to the clerk on a form to be provided bv that officer. Said application shall state the name and place of residence of the applicant, the location at which said business is intended to be con- ducted, and whether applicant has ever been convicted of a felony. The application shall be accompanied by the fee provided herein. Every such application shall be submitted to the council, which shall authorize the license if in its opinion neither the health nor morals of the community will suffer thereby. The clerk shall thereupon issue the license, or if the license is denied refund the fee paid therefor.
