COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />Pursuant to notice thereof a regular meeting of the New Brighton <br />City Council was held Tuesday, June 12, 1979, at 7:30 p.m. in <br />the municipal building, 803 5th Avenue NW, New Brighton, Minnesota. <br />Present: Councilmembers, Bob Benke, Roger Blomquist, Jeanette Janecek, <br />Fritz Werdouschegg <br />Absent: Mayor James Sende <br />Also <br />Present; Dennis S. Zylla, ?y Manager <br />Donald L. Lais, C-,-y Attorney <br />Les Proper, Director of Public Works <br />James F. Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />Maurice Anderson, Director of Parks and Recreation <br />Vernon C. Pederson, City Clerk <br />Acting Mayor Roger Blomquist presided. <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Werdouschegg to approve the <br />minutes of May 22, 1979, as presented. <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to amend the motion <br />by making the following changes and corrections: page 6, and page 7 <br />the title for Mr. Ken Simons should read Landscape Architect <br />rather than Land Use Architect. Page 6, sixth paragraph be <br />amended to read "after a lengthy discussion there was a motion <br />by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to approve the proposed boat <br />access design concept and to forward to the Metropolitan Council <br />for inclusion in the Long Lake Concept Plan approval. <br />Vote on amendment. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Vote on main motion as amended. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br />Special Order of Business - <br />1.
