I' !! , 'NHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: I, " 1. Mr. David Black, on behalf of the City of New Brighton applied for a Preliminary Plat on January ,i; 16, 2004 to consolidate the following properties into one lot of record: a) 1823 Old Highway 8 NW; b) 1853 Old Highway 8 NW; c) 1873 Old Highway 8 NW; and d) Parcel "B" of 1951 Old Highway 8 NW. 2. Public Notice was published in the New Brighton Bulletin February 3, 2004. , 3. Notification of the Public Hearing was sent to the surrounding properties within 350 feet. ;: 4. The Planning Commission held a public hearing on February 17, 2004 and recommended approval to the City Council. 5. The City Council reviewed the proposal and approved the amendment on February 24th, 2004. ~bw THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council makes the following Findings of Fact: 1. The subject properties are part of a redevelopment project for a future hardware store. 2. On February 24th, 2004, the Council reviewed the proposal and approved a preliminary plat of the parcels. ; , , , I ~~ IT fuRTHER RF:SOLVED, the application PL04-01 is hereby approved with the following conditions: 1. The City Engineer shall review the Final Plat prior to hearing at the City Council. 2. The applicant shall file aU necessary plans with Ramsey County. 3.
