I J I , ,I BE IT RESOL\lEDBY THE NEW '''BRIGHTON CITY COUNCIL, That ~" Resolution No. 1846 amending the Rules of Council Procedure is hereby amended in the SE!ction entitled Agenda to read as I follows: I All matters to be submitted to the city council requiring i I I I a report by the city staff shall be filed with the city I not later than 12 noon on the Tuesday prior to t:he follow- ! ing Tuesday council meeting at which consideration is II desired. The r~quest for council agenda consideration shall be delivered to the city manager or in his absence to. the city clerk or other department head charged with I the responsibility to write the necessary supporting ITlaterial which must accompany the application or request. I All documentation required of the applicant by the staff member must also be submitted by the Tuesday noon dead- line. IIi those instances where the matter or request does not reqpire an investigation or report by the city manager or member of the city staff, an item will be accepted J a.f~erthe Tuesday 12 noon deadline up to 12 noon on I Thursday prior to the Tuesday council meeting. The policy shall not preclude the city manager from with- I holding> a matter from the city council agenda if, in his opinion, due to special circumstances the 48 hours allowed I for the .city staff member or the city manager to write his report was not deemed adequate.
