<br /> '" I I <br /> .. ~ <br /> . ,{I- .~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2193 <br /> I STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> i <br /> I COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT IN AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION <br /> OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF <br /> THE 10TH STREET N.W. UPGRADING PROJECT, 79-10 <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2188 of the City <br /> Council of the City of New Brighton adopted April 10, 1979, a <br /> date was set for a Council hearing on the proposed lOth Street <br /> N. W. Upgrading Project 79-10, as described in the revised <br /> preliminary report dated March 2, 1979, and <br /> WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through <br /> I two weekly publications of the required notice was given and <br /> the hearing was held thereon the 24th day of April, 1979, at <br /> which time all person's desiring to be heard were given an <br /> opportunity to be heard thereon. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> l. That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed <br /> except for the proposed street lighting on the south <br /> side of lOth Street and the deletion of 10th and 11th <br /> Avenue until such time as a feasibility study of <br /> alternates is completed. <br /> 2 . That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the <br /> I Engineer for this improvement. <br /> I 3. That the City Attorney and the City Engineer are <br /> I hereby authorized and directed to acquire such <br /> interests in real property by direct purchase, <br /> donation or proceedings in eminent domain as may be <br /> reasonable and necessary to construct said improvement, <br /> and, furthermore are authorized to employ such <br /> specialists as may be necessary to acquire said <br /> interest. <br /> Adopted this 24th day of April , 1979. <br /> I <br /> ATTEST: Ci ty t~anager <br /> 6", _...::~ tid J2~ <br /> Vernon C.
