ANTHONY <br /> TO CONSTRUCT AND HAINTAIN A ROADHAY ALONG THE COIvJJ..10N BOmJDARY OF <br /> THE VILLAGES OF NE1>l BRIGHTON AJ:,.T]) ST. ANTHONY FRON SILVER LAKE ROAD <br /> TO T.H. 8 ON THE A.XIS OF RJUJ.lSEY COUNTY ROAD 100 (SILVER LANE) EXTENDED <br /> WHEREAS the Village of st. Anthony and the Village of New Brighton share a com- <br /> mon boundary known as Silver Lane and/or Orchard Place; and <br /> WHEREAS within the Village of New Brighton there exists a roadway known as Foss <br /> Road along the alignment of the aforementioned common roadway, which connects tc <br /> T .H.8; and <br /> WHEREAS the ISD #282 is constructing an elementary school to jointly serve the <br /> Village of St. Anthony and the Village of rTew Brighton, requiring improvement <br /> of the present common roadway; and <br /> WHEREAS common roadways are traditionally and inherently sugject to problems in <br /> joint construction, maintenance and repair by more than one political jurisdiction; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS Ramsey County already provides a county roadway known as Ramsey County <br /> 100, called Silver Lane along the same axis as Silver Lane and Orchard Place; <br /> Nrn>l, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLvr~ that the Coth~cils of the Village of New Brighton <br /> and the Village of St. Anthony, each by the passage of a resolution, do hereby <br /> call upon the County of Hamsey and its Board of Commissioners to construct, main- <br /> tain and repair a roadway along the right-of-way of Silver Lane and/or Orchard <br /> Place and Foss Road from Silver Lake Road to T.H. 8 along the ~xis of Ramsey <br /> County 100 extended, to efficiently and economically serve the people of Ramsey <br /> County, the school population of ISD #282, the Village of New Brighton and the <br /> Village of St .
