'" ,."" ... . <br /> . <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 315 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNrry OF RAMSEY <br /> VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING STREET COMMONLY KNOWN AS 26TH .AVENUE N.ll. <br /> FROM MISSISSIPPI STREET NORTH 257 FEET <br /> WHEREAS a petition of a majority of the owners of land abutting on the <br /> following described street have petitioned for its vacation, and pursuant <br /> thereto a notice of Public Hearing thereon was duly published in the official <br /> newspaper and such notice was duly posted accoring to law, and <br /> WHEREAS said hearing was duly held on October 12, 1966 at which time all <br /> persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, <br /> &he there being no objection, and it appearing in the best interests of <br /> the Village and the surrounding property owners. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of New <br /> Brighton that the following described public street be and is hereby <br /> vacated: <br /> A siBty-six (66) foot strip of land, the center line of <br /> which is described as follows: Beginning at a point on <br /> the south line of the Northwest one quarter (wi) of Section <br /> Eighteen (18), Township Thirty North (T30N), Range Twenty- <br /> three West (R2JW), said point lying three hundred ninety- <br /> five (395) feet west of the southeast corner of the said <br /> Northwest one quarter (NWi); thence north along a line which <br /> is parallel to the east line of the said Northwest one quarter <br /> (NWt) to a point which is one thousand fifty-three (1053) <br /> feet south of the north line of the Southeast one quarter <br /> (SEt) of the Northwest one quar.ter (MftO of the said Section <br /> Eighteen (19). <br /> Subject to Mississippi Street right-of-way which is the <br /> southerly thirty-three (33) feet of the above described parcel. <br /> and the Village Clerk shall prepare and present to the proper County <br /> Officers a Notic of Compliance with the vacation proceedings in <br /> accordance with MiBBiseta Statutes, section 117.19. <br /> Adopted this 3 day of 1t.&u~...l.966. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> {/I~J2L~,~ <br /> Vernon Pederson, Clerk <br /> SEAL <br />
