<br />.. <br />, l"'\. <br />* ~""'J, 4IJ~ <br /> , <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 962 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> VILLAGE OF :NEW BRIGHTON <br /> A RESOLUTION AME:NDING THE 1971 ADOPTED BUDGET BY REINSTATING THE <br /> POSITION OF BUILDING INSPECTOR AND AUTHORIZING TRANSFER FROM <br /> CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATION TO THE lNSPECTION ACCODmWITHIN THE <br />" GENERAL FUND <br /> WHEREAS the retirement on S~Ptemher 1, 1970 of the Chief <br /> Building Inspector and the subsequent promotion of the Building <br /> Inspector to the position of Chief In$pector left the department <br /> understaffeq, and <br /> WHEREAS a 1 tl1 ough the 1971 I3uqget'did not include the permanent <br /> position of Building Inspector, the Council was adtriseq that when <br /> attempts to recruit a Building Ins.pector were successful, the <br /> Cou]:'lcil would be approached to reinstate and fund the position, and <br /> WHEREAS a qualified per$pn has now been interviewed and is <br /> willing to accept the apPointment <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council Of the Village <br /> of N.ew Brighton that the 1971 Budget be amended by adding the <br /> position of Building Inspector effective August 1, 1971 <br /> BS IT FURTHER RESOLVED,'l,1hat$1,875.00 be transferred from <br /> the contingency APpropriations to Employee Services of the <br /> tnspection Department within the General Fund and the Manager <br /> and.
