TRANSMITTAL 'OF A,S SES S!'IMS - Oli! ANNEXED PORTl;QN, AND CORRECTING A <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION',,' C,' - ", :~,_' <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Council O:fNewB';i~ittbn;' by Resolution dated <br />November 24, 1970, petitioned the !'Iinnesota !'Iunicipal Commission, <br />in accordance with law, for the -detaChment of certain property in <br />New Brighton and the annexation of certain property in Arden Hills, <br />said parcels being described in detail in said ResOlution, with <br />'abbreviated descriptions being as follOWs: <br /> <br />Area to be detached: <br /> <br />All that part of the south l:! of Section 21, T 3D, R 23, <br />lying easterly of the. centerline of T.H. 35W, not already <br />within the corporate limits of Arden Hills <br /> <br /> <br />Area to be annexed: <br /> <br />All that part of the_ swli, Section 16, T 3D, R 23, lying <br />westerly of the centerline of 35W; All that part of the <br />NW~ Section 21, T 30,R 23, lying westerly of the <br />centerline of T~H. 35W, and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS by orders of the !'Iinnesota !'Iunicipal Commission dated <br />.!'Iarch 23, 1971, the petition of New Brighton for detachment and <br />annexation in accordance with the foregoing was approved and the <br />.. concurrent petition of the Village of Arden Hills for annexation <br />of the abOve detachment property was also approved, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS it is the desire and intention of the New Brighton <br />Council that the aforesaid property detached from the Village of <br />New Brighton and now annexed to the Village of Arden Hills be <br />relieved of any share of the bonded indebtedness of the Village of <br />New Brighton which it might otherwise bear, to the end that it <br />could be subjected to its proportionate share of the bonded <br />indebtedness in the Village of Arden Hills <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the aforesaid parcel <br />detached from the Village of New Brighton is declared to be free <br />and clear of any bonded indebtedness levied thereon or placed <br />upon it by the Village of New Brighton. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Ramsey County Auditor is <br />authorized to transmit directly to the Village of Arden Hills <br />assessments heretofore levied on the aforesaid prOperty now annexec. <br />to the Village of New Brighton" but- said authority to transmit <br />.shall now apply to any assessments hereafter levied upon said <br />property by the Village of New Bri9hton. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />~- <br />
