<br />....- <br /> I .. <br /> .. - ~. <br /> " 1596 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br />,r <br />, <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 73-9 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br /> Brighton, Mimnesota as follows: <br /> WHEREAS pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br /> law the City Council has met and heard and passed upon all <br /> objections to the proposed assessment fo~ the improvement of: <br /> Area generally bounded by 1-694 on the south City limits <br /> on the west, 14th St. N.W. on the north and 23rd Ave. N.W. <br /> , on the east. <br /> By: Acquiring utility and construction easements and installa.tiOL <br /> of storm sewer pipe and appurtenances on 27th Ave. N.W. from <br /> approximately 300 feet south of Palmer Drive to approximately <br /> l3A St. N.W. and on Clover Lane from 27th Ave. N.W. to Silve]~ <br /> Lake Road. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br /> of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and s1E.ll <br /> constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein" <br /> and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be <br /> benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assess- <br /> ment levied against it. <br /> 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install- <br /> ments extending over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of <br /> the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in <br /> January 1976, and shall bear interest at the rate of eight <br /> percent (8%) per annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> assessment resolution until December 31, 1975, to each subsequent <br /> installment when due shall be added interest for one (1) year on <br /> all unpaid installments. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br /> prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pc'Y <br /> the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrueC' <br /> to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no <br /> in terest shall be, 'charged if the entire assessment is paid wi thin <br /> 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any <br /> time thereafter, pay to the County Treasurer and the balance of the <br /> assessments remaining unpaid to the Cit.y'1'rea~\.1rer with interest <br /> accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case made and <br /> provided. <br /> 4.
