<br /> ~ ; .\.. <br /> . <br /> RESOLUTION NO 1593 <br />, . <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON IMPROVEMENT 73 - 3 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW <br />BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS: <br />WHEREAS pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br />law the City Council has met and heard and passed upon all <br />objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of: <br /> 29th Ave. N.W. from 14th St. N.W. to 15th St. N.W. <br />j 14A St. from 29th Ave. N.W. to cul--de-sac <br />By: Acquisition of street right of way, opening grading, sanitar} <br /> sewer, watermain, storm sewer, concrete ourb and gutter, <br /> bituminous base and surfacing <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, of the City <br />of New Brighton, Minnesota <br /> 1. Such proposed assessment, a. copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall <br />consti tute the spE;:!cial aS"sessment against the lands named therein, <br />and each tract of land therein inoluded is hereby found to be <br />benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assess- <br />ment levied against it. <br /> 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal. annual install- <br />ments extending over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of <br />the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in <br />January 1976, and shall bear interest at the rate of eight percent <br />(8%) per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment <br />resolution until December 31, 1975)! to each subsequent install- <br />ment when due shall be added interest for one (1) year on all <br />unpaid installments. <br /> 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br />prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, <br />pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest <br />accrued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except <br />that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid <br />within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at <br />any time thereafter, pay to the County Treasurer, and the balance <br />of the assessments remaining unpaid to the City Treasurer with <br />interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case made <br />and provided. <br /> 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate <br />of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the <br />proper tax list of the County, andr su'ch assessments shall be <br />collected andpai~ over in the same manner as other municipal <br />taxes. <br />Adopted this 14th day of August, 1975. <br />ATTEST: " <br />~~O~ <br />Vernon c.
