STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT AND SETTING DATE OF HEARING (Diseased Tree Removal) Extract of minutes of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting i of the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota was held at the city Hall in said City on the 12th day of August, 1975, at 8:00 P.M. with the following members present: Bromander, Anderson, Eagon, Fisher, Rebelein And the following members absent: None Councilman Eagon introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT AND SETTING:nATE OF HEARING ' ON DISEASED TREE REMOVAL NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITYCIDUNCIL OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA I. The cost of diseased tree removal to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $2,978.00 2. The City Clerk with the assistance of the city Forester shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such diseased tree removal against every affected lot, place or parcel of land within the City based upon the number and size of diseased trees removed and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon completion ,.of such proposed assessments notify the council thereof. 4. That a public hearing on the proposed assessment be set for September 9, 1975 at 8 o'clock p.m. at the City Hall. 5. That mailed notices of this hearing be sent to each affected property owner as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Anderson and upon a vote being taken the following members voted in favor thereof: Bromander, Anderson, Eagon, Fisher, Rebelein And the following voted against the same: None : I I
