<br />i:) , ". - --.... <br />" <br />. <br />~, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1563 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL OF FINAL PLANS FOR IMPROVEMENTS <br /> TO SILVER LAKE ROAD <br /> WHEREAS Silver Lake Road through the City of New <br /> Brighton is a County road, and <br /> , <br /> WHEREAS Ramsey County proposes to improve Silver Lake I <br /> Road in the area of Palmer Drive and has presented final <br /> plans for such improvement to the Council of the City of <br /> New Brighton for review and consideration, and <br /> WHEREAS the Council after reviewing such plans find <br /> such plans have merit, but have concern that the plans as <br /> presented preclude a left turn onto the service road serving <br /> the Innsbruck Nursing Home, Minar Ford, and several homes <br /> thereby reducing emergency response capabilities to this <br /> area, and <br /> WHEREAS the City has ordered the construction of Palmer <br /> Drive and 27th Avenue which when completed in 1976 will <br /> alleviate this concern, <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br /> of New Brighton, That final approval is hereby given to <br /> plans for the improvement of Silver Lake Road in the area <br /> of Palmer Drive with the condition that such final plans <br /> include temporary provisions for left turns onto the service <br /> road serving the Innsbruck Nursing Home, Minar Ford, and <br /> area homes until such time as City construction has been <br /> completed on Palmer Drive and 27th Avenue NW. <br /> These temporary provisions shall include the delayed <br /> construction of the south 120 feet of the center median <br /> immediately opposite said service road entrance~ The City <br /> of New Brighton shall construct said south 120 feet of <br /> center median on or before October 1, 1976 and bill Ramsey <br /> County for said work. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor is hereby authorized <br /> to sign said plans and the City Clerk is hereby directed to <br /> file a copy of this resolution with the Ramsey County Board <br /> of Commissioners. <br /> Adopted this_~lOth day of <br /> 1<?~ <br /> ATTEST: Bromander, Mayor <br /> /} <br /> ~~ B_ j).J}-lAA~ <br /> Vernon C.
