<br />.. <br /> c <br /> . - .. <br />1 "- 2115 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING TRANSFER STATION LICENSE TO BROWING- <br />FERRIS INDUSTRIES <br />WHEREAS Chapter 11, Article III of the New Brighton City <br />Code requires licensing of transfer stations, and <br />WHEREAS the City of New Brighton is responsible for the <br />general safety, health, welfare and well being of its residents <br />and has established codes to aid in carrying out this <br />responsibility, and <br />WHEREAS the transfer station operated by Browning-Ferris <br />Industries poses a potential hazard to the general safety, health. <br />welfare and well being of the citizens of New Brighton, and <br />WHEREAS Brovming-Ferris Industries has applied for transfer <br />station license to operate a refuse transfer station at 1021 Firs': <br />Street NW <br />NOW THEREFOP~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />New Brighton, That a transfer station license be issued to <br />Browning-Ferris Industries for a refuse transfer station at <br />1021 First Street N.W. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such license be conditioned on: <br />1. Parking being permitted only in the designated parking <br /> area in front of the building with overflow parking <br /> allowed only within the fenced area. <br />2. No parking permitted in the access and driveway areas, <br /> and IINo Parkingll signs shall be posted in these areas. <br />3. Transfer station may be used only for the purpose of <br /> transferring rubbish collected by Browning-Ferris <br /> Industries. <br />4. New Brighton residents may not use the station. <br />5. All truck washing, service and repair shall be in an <br /> enclosed building. <br />6. Industrial Performance Standards shall be complied with. <br />7. Minnesota Pollutinon Control Agency and Metropolitan <br /> Council Rules and Regulations shall be complied with. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be <br />conspicuously posted with the license on the premises. <br />Adopted this 24th day of October 1978. <br />ATTEST: Ja <br />~~~ ~. vJ~...A~ ., <br />Vernon C.
