<br /> . <br />\ <br /> . <br /> . <br />" .. .. t ... <br />, , <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2112 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> :RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PLACEMENT OF SUNDAY <br /> LIQUOR FOR SALE ON THE ELECTION BALLOT SPECIFICALLY STATING <br /> WHETHER SPECIAL ON SALE LICENSES BE GRANTED FOR SALE OF INTOXICA- <br /> TING LIQUOR ON SUNDAYS IN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> WHEREAS the City of New Brighton is in the process of <br /> considering whether the City of New Brighton should or should not <br /> have Sunday liquor: and <br /> WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of ,Minnesota Statute, <br /> . Chapter 340.14, Subd. 5, authorizing the on sale of liquor on <br /> Sundays under carefully restricted conditions, including a <br /> referendum requirement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br /> 1. That the questions of Sunday liquor be placed on the <br /> election ballot specifically stating whether special on sale <br /> licenses be grant~d for the sale of intoxicating liquor on Sundays <br /> in the City of New Brighton. <br /> 2. The proposal to determine Sunday liquor sales shall be <br /> submitted to the voters of the city at the special election DO be <br /> held at the usual polling place for each precinct as follows: <br /> Precinct 1, City Ha II Precinct 4, pike Lake School <br /> Precinct 2, Sunnyside School prec inct 5, Bel Air School <br /> Precinct 3, Community Resource Center Precinct 6, Salem Baptist <br /> Church <br /> 4. The City Clerk shall give notice of election as required <br /> by two weeks publication in the official newspaper and by posting <br /> in three public and conspicuous places in the city at least ten <br /> days prior to the election. <br /> 5.
