'" <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2097 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION f4AKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND DENYING VARIANCE <br />APPLICATION, VN-190 <br />WHEREAS an application for a variance VN-190 has been made <br />by Mr. Gene Holen to permit the subdivision of property creating <br />two lots that are less than 75 feet in width and less than lO,OOO <br />square feet in area, and <br />WHEREAS the procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br />1. That an application for a variance VN-l90 was filed <br /> with the City on July 12, 1978. <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the <br /> application at its meeting of July 31, 1978. <br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and mailed <br /> notice, held a public hearing on August 8, 1979, to <br /> consider the application. All persons present at the <br /> public hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. <br />4. The written comments and analysis of the City Planner, <br /> The Planning Commission minutes and recommendation, <br /> statements made at the public hearing were considered. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />New Brighton that the following Findings of Fact are made in <br />respect to VN-190: <br />l. The property is zoned R-l, Single Family Residential, a <br /> zoning district that requires a minimum lot width of <br /> 75 feet and a minimum area of lO,OOO square feet. <br />2. The variance requested seeks both reduced lot width and <br /> lot area. <br />3. That the application presents no unique circumstances <br /> or undue hardship applying to the property. <br />4. That standard or larger lots are common throughout <br /> the general neighborhood. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the application for VN-l90 <br />is hereby denied. <br />Adopted this 26th day of September 1978. <br /> I <br />ATTEST: <br /> - <br />~~,'e,- QJ).1 A-~ <br />Vernon C.
