<br />, ,. , <br />It .-# " , <br />...,. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2027 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION INSURING THAT THE I-335 SEGMENT IS NOT <br /> DELETED FROM THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM <br /> WHEREAS 1-335 through Minneapolis is to be deleted <br /> from the Interstate Highway System, and <br /> WHEREAS the EQB is concerned that the deletion of <br /> this highway will not provide a decrease in traffic, noise <br /> and pollution along I-35W and 1-694 and will deprive New <br /> Brighton of an important traffic link through Minneapolis, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS additional traffic must be channeled across <br /> and over an already congested traffic artery through <br /> New Brighton and across the Mississippi River <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton <br /> Council direct administrative staff to take whatever steps <br /> necessary and appropriate to insure that the I-335 <br /> segment is not deleted from the Interstate Highway System. <br /> Adopted this 28th day of March, <br /> n L~' "'I <br /> ATTEST: .<./Ritt ' ,', " L{-t C'V --.-< <br /> GarJ L.
