<br /> ... <br /> #. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2004 <br /> ,. .. <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF,RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND DENYING VARIANCE <br /> APPLICATION VN-179 <br /> WHEREAS, an applicatiqn f'or a variance VN-179 has peen <br /> made by Gordon Hedlund tq peJ::'mit the cons tnaction of a home <br /> exceeding the 3 floor area ratio limitation, on Lot 28, Block <br /> 1, Syndica te Addition to Minn'eapolis Stockyards, and <br /> WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as <br /> follows: <br /> l. That an application for variance VN-179 was filed with <br /> the City on November 9, 1977 and was heard and <br /> reviewed by the Planning Commission at its meeting <br /> of November 15, 1977; <br /> 2. Tbat the City Council, pursuant to published and <br /> mailed notices, held a public hearing on February <br /> 14, 1978. All persons present at the hearing were <br /> given an opportunity to be heard. <br /> 3. The written comments and analysis of the City <br /> Planner, the Planning Commission minutes and <br /> recommendations, and all person's statements at <br /> the public hearing were considered. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the New Brighton City <br /> Council makes the following Findings of Fact in regard to the <br /> application for VN-179: <br /> 1. That no undue hardships or unique circumstances <br /> applying to the property have been presented <br /> through the application. <br /> 2. That the City Council has consistently upheld the <br /> floor-area-ratio limitation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that variance application VN-l79 <br /> be and is hereby denied. <br /> Adopted this 14th day of February, 1978. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ~~ {!,.fJ~~ Ja <br /> e <br /> Gary L.
