<br /> ~ " ,~1Ir <br /> .. . <br /> / ., <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1999 <br /> . -.-.-.- <br /> , <br /> , <br /> I <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON I <br /> i , <br /> ! <br /> ii <br /> ., <br /> ESTA:iLISHING THE 1978 SCHEDULE OF PAY AND COMPENSATION <br /> i <br /> it is necessary for the City Council to establish I <br /> W}LE REA S , i <br /> a pa\ plan and to make periodic adjustntents in such plan, and <br /> ~:EREAS, the salaries for the various posItions of the city <br /> have ,been reviewed based on the 1977 Stanton Survey of Metro <br /> sala:~y practices, and <br /> WEEREAS, the City Council desires to establish fair and . <br /> equi':,able pay practices , <br /> . <br /> NC'W THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton does <br /> here~~"y provide: <br /> S,~ction 1 Pay Plan Adopted <br /> T~t,e attached pay and Compensation Schedule for 1978 is <br /> herek~ adopted effective retroactively to January 1, 1978. <br /> St:ction 2 Collective Barqaininq Aqreements <br /> Et.ployees included in collective bargaining agreements <br /> shaLJ be compensated in accordance with those agreements. <br /> 1977 salaries shall continue at the same rates in 1978 until <br /> such agreements are concluded and signed. Retroactive salary <br /> adju$tments may be made. <br /> S(!ction 3 City Manaqer <br /> The <~ty manager shall be compensated in accordance with his <br /> , <br /> Empl<lIyment Agreement. <br /> S~tion 4 Health Insurance <br /> The city shall pay a maximum of $60/month per employee <br /> towaJ:d the cost of group health and life insurance, effective <br /> Januc:ry 1, 1978 except those who are included by a contract <br /> with the City which contract whall be contrOlling. <br /> l <br /> 'I <br /> ,[ <br /> :! <br /> ~ <br /> 1 <br /> . <br />
