RESOLUTION NO. 1-2_87 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON (GENERALLY SOUTH OF MISSISSIPPI STREET AND WEST OF LONG LAKE ROAD) WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton has been requested to subdivide certain property in the City of New Brighton described as follows: Parcel A: All of that part of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Section 18, Township 30, Range 23, in Ramsey County, Minnesota lying Northerly of Rice Creek and Westerly of Long Lake Road, except that part lying South of the North 130 feet, and Easterly of the Easterly line of Rainbow Avenue extended, now platted as KOONS DEVENER ADDITION, containing Lots 1 through 20 inclusive, Block 1 and Lots 1 through 8 inclusive, Block 2. WHEREAS, State statutes require that if such property is located in municipalities that have adopted a platting ordinance, approval of that municipality must be obtained before such subdivision can be filed, and WHEREAS, Section 475.24, Subd. 2, of the New Brighton City Code provides for subdivision of property without platting if certain criteria can be met, and WHEREAS, the Council has determined that such criteria has been met. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton, that the Council approves subdivision of the above described property into parcels described as follows: Parcell: All of that part of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Section 18, Township 30, Range 23 in Ramsey County, Minnesota lying Northerly of Rice Creek and Westerly of Long Lake Road, except that part lying South of the North 130 feet; Easterly of the Southerly extension of the East line of Rainbow Avenue as platted in Brookview Addition and except that part described as follows: Beginning at a point on the South line of the North 130 feet of said N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 distant 10 feet East of the West line of Lot 20, Block 1, Koons-Devener Addition as measured at rightangles thereto, said point being on the Westerly line of said Long Lake Road; thence West along the South line of Lots 19 and 20, Block 1 and its Easterly extension to a point distant 70 feet West of the Southeast corner of said Lot 19; thence South at right angles a distance of 40 feet; thence east at right angles a distance of 70 feet; thence South at right angles a distance of 35 feet; thence East at right angles and to the Westerly line of said Long Lake Road; thence North- easterly on said Westerly line to the point of beginning.
