RESOLUTION NO. 1-2_87 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON (GENERALLY SOUTH OF MISSISSIPPI STREET AND <br />WEST OF LONG LAKE ROAD) <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton has been requested to <br />subdivide certain property in the City of New Brighton <br />described as follows: <br />Parcel A: <br />All of that part of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Section 18, <br />Township 30, Range 23, in Ramsey County, Minnesota lying <br />Northerly of Rice Creek and Westerly of Long Lake Road, <br />except that part lying South of the North 130 feet, and <br />Easterly of the Easterly line of Rainbow Avenue extended, <br />now platted as KOONS DEVENER ADDITION, containing Lots 1 <br />through 20 inclusive, Block 1 and Lots 1 through 8 <br />inclusive, Block 2. <br />WHEREAS, State statutes require that if such property is <br />located in municipalities that have adopted a platting <br />ordinance, approval of that municipality must be obtained <br />before such subdivision can be filed, and <br />WHEREAS, Section 475.24, Subd. 2, of the New Brighton <br />City Code provides for subdivision of property without platting <br />if certain criteria can be met, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has determined that such criteria <br />has been met. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of New Brighton, that the Council approves subdivision of the <br />above described property into parcels described as follows: <br />Parcell: <br />All of that part of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Section 18, <br />Township 30, Range 23 in Ramsey County, Minnesota lying <br />Northerly of Rice Creek and Westerly of Long Lake Road, <br />except that part lying South of the North 130 feet; <br />Easterly of the Southerly extension of the East line of <br />Rainbow Avenue as platted in Brookview Addition and <br />except that part described as follows: Beginning at a <br />point on the South line of the North 130 feet of said <br />N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 distant 10 feet East of the West line <br />of Lot 20, Block 1, Koons-Devener Addition as measured <br />at rightangles thereto, said point being on the Westerly <br />line of said Long Lake Road; thence West along the South <br />line of Lots 19 and 20, Block 1 and its Easterly <br />extension to a point distant 70 feet West of the Southeast <br />corner of said Lot 19; thence South at right angles a <br />distance of 40 feet; thence east at right angles a <br />distance of 70 feet; thence South at right angles a <br />distance of 35 feet; thence East at right angles and to <br />the Westerly line of said Long Lake Road; thence North- <br />easterly on said Westerly line to the point of beginning. <br />
