<br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to not~ce thereof a regular meeting of the <br />New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, April 22, <br />1980 at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 5th <br />Avenue NW, New Brighton, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Senden, Councilmembers Bob Benke, <br />Roger Blomquist, Jeanette Janecek, Steve Schmidt <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />Dennis S. Zylla, City Manager <br />Donald L. Lais, City Attorney <br />Les Proper, Director of Public Works <br />Jim Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />Vernon Pederson, City Clerk <br />Joan Archer, City Planner <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Schmidt to amend the minutes <br />of April 8, 1980 by correcting the spelling of Tom Kalbrener <br />and further that the minutes include that Gene Fisher, l430 <br />3rd St. ~M, spoke in opposition to R-IIS arid PUD #1 and <br />a summarization of his reasons, and to approve the minutes <br />as amended. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Mayor with consent of the Council directed receipt of <br />letters from: <br /> <br />Lloyd and Carol Schrum <br />James R. Davis <br />William Guzy <br />Pamela L. Nelson <br />Martin Howell, and <br />Kathy Hritzko <br /> <br />stating their opposition in regard to R-l15 and PUD #1. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to receive the <br />minutes of: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Downtown Advisory Board - April 3, 1980 <br />New Brighton Human Rights Commission - April 7, 1980 <br />EQC - April 10, 1980 <br />Citizens Study Committee - February 21, 1980 <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />
