<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof a regular meeting of the New <br />Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, June 24, 1980 <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 5th Avenue NW, <br />New Brighton, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Senden, Councilmembers Bob Benke, <br />Roger Blomquist, Jeanette Janecek, Steven Schmidt <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />Pat Kelly, Assistant City Attorney <br />Jim Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />Les Proper, Director of Public Works <br />John Grau, Administrative Assistant <br />Vernon Pederson, City Clerk <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to approve the minutes <br />of June 10, 1980 as presented. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Mayor with the consent of the Council directed receipt <br />of the EQC minutes of June 12, 1980 and the Board of Review <br />minutes of June l7, 1980. <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Schmidt to defer action on <br />commission appointments to July 8, 1980. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist to remove the setting <br />of date and time for public hearings for SP-93, PL-122 and <br />SP-92 from the Consent Agenda to be placed at the end of Council <br />Business and to approve the following items: <br /> <br />Consolidated fund vouchers 50726-50753; 562l4-56339 <br />Liquor fund vouchers l2832-l2883 <br />Licenses: <br />Dayton's Bluff Sheet Metal <br />Outdoor Design <br />WELESKI & SON <br />Mister Donut <br />5.
