<br />I <br /> <br />MINUTES OF <br />REVENUE SHARING PROPOSED USE HEARING <br />AUGUST 26, 1980 <br /> <br />Meeting called by the City Manager for the purpose of obtain- <br />ing written and oral comments by the public on the proposed <br />uses of revenue sharing funds for the fiscal year 1981. The <br />hearing was called to order by the city Manager at 7:00 p.m. <br />In attendance was Les proper, Director of Public Works. The <br />Manager indicated that the proposed use hearing was to deter- <br />mine the allocation of approximately $175,000 of unappropriated <br />revenue sharing funds plus $9S,000 of revenue sharing monies <br />to be received in the upcoming fiscal year. Notice of the <br />public hearing was published in the New Brighton Bulletin on <br />August 14 and August 21. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />With the exception of the Director of Public Works, no other <br />persons were in attendance. Mr. Les Proper, Public Works <br />Director, indicated that he would like to see revenue sharing <br />funds set aside for the purpose of preparing a comprehensive <br />drainage plan for the city. Expected cost is $30,000. He <br />stated that the plan would assist the city in determining <br />drainage requirements and would simultaneously improve the <br />city's ability to deal with the Rick Creek Watershed District <br />relative to drainage issues. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned by the Manager at 7:l5 p.m. <br /> <br />9e--'),~ <br /> <br />City Manager <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />-' <br />
