RESOLUTION NO. <br />09-049 <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />)LUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE RAMSEY COUNTY TRAFFIC SAFETY <br />ATIVE AS FUNDED BY THE MN DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICE OF TRAFFIC <br />TY FOR THE 2009 - 2010 GRANT YEAR. <br />, the City of New Brighton has determined that traffic safety including enforcement and <br />are important to a safe community: <br />the Department of Public Safety has conducted traffic safety activities including <br />it and education: <br />the Department of Public Safety has participated in several Safe and Sober <br />grants to assist in funding enforcement and educational activities with excellent <br />.EAS, the Department of Public Safety has been approved by the MN Department of <br />Safety for participation in the Safe and Sober Communities grant program via the Ramsey <br />Sheriff s Office: <br />ERAS, a Resolution Authorizing Participation in this Agreement is required for participation <br />receipt of funds: <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THE NEW BRIGHTON DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY IS <br />ORIZED TO PARTICIPATE WITH RAMSEY COUNTY AND THE MN DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC <br />"Y IN THE RAMSEY COUNTY TRAFFIC SAFETY INITIATIVE FOR THE 2009-2010 GRANT YEAR. <br />this 8th day of September 2009. <br />n�r':P 4 <br />Direetor of Finance <br />Steve Larson, Mayor <br />Dean R.
