RESOLUTION NO, <br />09-074 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />OLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN <br />TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2009, IN ORDER TO REFINANCE THE OUTSTANDING PUBLIC <br />FACILITIES LEASE REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2002A <br />LEAS, in 2002, the City and its Economic Development Authority (EDA) entered into agreements <br />resulted in the construction of the Public Safety Center; and <br />AS, in 2002, the EDA issued $10,590,000 Public Facility Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2002A <br />to fi nce the construction; and <br />; and <br />, the City wishes to refinance the 2002A bonds by issuing capital improvement bonds to save <br />the Minnesota Statutes have specific requirements which must be met to issue this type of <br />the issuance of debt must be included in our Capital Improvement Plan (CIP); and <br />, a public hearing must be held on the City's CIP. <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton to call for a <br />hearing on the Capital Improvement Plan for Tuesday, December 8, 2009, in order to refinance the <br />Facilities Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2002A. <br />ed this 9th day of November, 2009. <br />eve Larson, Mayor <br />
