RESOLUTION NO. <br />12-054 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS AT EXITS OF THE 4' STREET <br />NW AND 5' STREET NW PARKING LOTS OF HANSEN PARK EAST. <br />WHEREAS, On May 8, 2012, the City Council received a neighborhood petition and referred the <br />traffic concerns from the neighborhood adjacent to 12°i Avenue NW at 4th Street NW to the Public Safety <br />Commission; and, <br />WHEREAS, On June 25, 2012, the Public Safety Commission held a public hearing to discuss traffic <br />related concerns on 12`h Avenue NW at 4`h Street NW. The following was recommended by the <br />Commission: <br />1. Install a stop sign at the exit of the 4`h Street NW Hansen Park East parking lot. <br />2. Staff shall remove a 6" tree and improve sight lines. <br />3. Install a stop sign at the exit of the 5t° Street NW Hansen Park East parking lot. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of New Brighton hereby <br />orders the installation of the following signage: <br />1. Install a stop sign at the exit of the 4`h Street NW Hansen Park East parking lot. <br />2.
