RESOLUTION NO <br />13-005 <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A SOLUTION ACCEPTING MONETARY SCHOLARSHIP DONATIONS FROM DAIRY <br />Qu EN, 409 OLD HIGHWAY 8 NW, NEW BRIGHTON, MN IN THE AMOUNT OF $756.16 <br />AND ALSO OTHER TANGIBLE DONATIONS BENEFITTING PROGRAM <br />P TICIPANTS IN THE NEW BRIGHTON PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT <br />FOR 2012. <br />the City desires that all New Brighton youth and families are able to participate in <br />Parks and Recreation programs; and <br />the City Council appreciates financial and tangible support from businesses, <br />community organizations or individuals toward youth and families who may not be <br />able to participate in New Brighton's recreational activities due to their income status; <br />and <br />the City welcomes funds and tangible donations to help maintain the quality and <br />quantity of affordable recreational opportunities for New Brighton families, <br />NO , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton to hereby <br />appi ove the resolution accepting the monetary scholarship donations from Dairy Queen at 409 Old <br />Hig. Avay 8 NW, New Brighton in the amount of $756.16 to assist low income families in participating <br />in w Brighton Parks and Recreation programs and also other tangible donations benefitting program <br />partlqipants in the New Brighton Parks and Recreation Department. <br />Adc r ted this 8th day of January, 2013. <br />AST: <br />A.
