<br />~. <br /> <br />I <br />, <br /> <br />.f <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 98 -069 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 96-11, BRIGHTON <br />CORPORATE PARK III STREET RECONSTRUCTION, PROJECT 98-3, MISCELLANEOUS <br />STREET RECONSTRUCTION, AND PROJECT 98-4, MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET <br />RECONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin and in the Construction <br />Bulletin, bids for the above mentioned improvements were received, opened, and read aloud by the <br />City Administration at 9:00 a.m., July 9, 1998, complying with the advertisement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the lowest bidder meeting bid specifications was found to be Midwest Asphalt <br />Corporation with a bid of$I,006,247.80. <br /> <br />Now, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton: <br /> <br />1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Midwest Asphalt Corporation in the name of the City of New Brighton <br />for Improvement Project 96-11, Brighton Corporate Park 111 Street Reconstruction, <br />Project 98-3, MisceIlaneous Street Reconstruction, and Project 98-4, Municipal State <br />Aid Street Reconstruction; and <br /> <br />2.
