<br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-100 <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISED INVESTMENT POLICY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, New Brighton's current investment policy was established in 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a number of events and changes impacting the investment of public funds <br />have occurred since then; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to adopt a more comprehensive investment <br />policy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the policy is designed to ensure the prudent management of public funds, the <br />availability of operating and capital funds when needed and an investment return <br />commensurate with the City's investment risk constraints and cash flow requirements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this revised policy is in accordance with Minnesota Statutes; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> <br />1. The City of New Brighton shall revise its investment policy, effective immediately, to <br />read as attached; <br /> <br />2.
