CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />WHEREAS Cor Wilson is retiring from her role as Executive Director of the North Suburban <br />Communications Commission and North Suburban Access Corporation on June 8'; and <br />WHEREAS Cor has served in the position since 1991; and <br />WHEREAS She was instrumental in building a leading community media center in the North Suburbs <br />and overseeing numerous franchise agreements with cable companies; and <br />WHEREAS Cor has represented the City of New Brighton and other cities on a national level as <br />President of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors; and <br />WHERAS She also represented New Brighton and other cities on a regional level by serving as <br />President of the Minnesota Association of Community Telecommunications <br />Administrators; and <br />WHEREAS During the course of Cor's career she has mentored and trained countless employees; and <br />WHEREAS Numerous local service organizations have benefited from Cor's participation, including <br />the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary Club in which Cor served as President from <br />1997-1998 and 2012-2013; and <br />WHEREAS The work of Cor has greatly benefited the City of New Brighton and it's residents and will <br />continue to do so for many years to come; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED, in recognition of Cor's twenty-seven years of service to the <br />citizens of New Brighton through her work with the cable commission, we present this proclamation <br />and offer our sincerest congratulations to: <br />fof <br />NEW <br />the city that works for you <br />Cor Wilson <br />and extend our heartfelt thanks and wish Cor good luck in <br />her future endeavors. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my <br />hand and cau�vd the Seal of the City ofNew Brighton, <br />Minnesota to he axed this ay of May, 2018. <br />VALERIE JOHNSON — M,1WOR <br />
