<br />... <br /> <br />0", <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-17 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CREATING THE POSITION(S) OF ACTING SUPERVISOR WITHIN THE <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT AND TO ESTABLISH A PAY RATE THEREFORE RETROACTIVE <br />TO JANUARY 1, 1990 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the New Brighton Police Department has a need for <br />specified persons to perform as supervisors in the absence of <br />regularly appointed supervisors, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such Acting Supervisors are entrusted with the full <br />authority, responsibilities, and liabilities of a regularly <br />appointed supervisor, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Acting Supervisors are for the times of their <br />appointments members of the management team and should be <br />compensated in a manner commensurate with this position; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the New Brighton Police <br />Department is authorized to create the position of Acting <br />Supervisor at such times and in such numbers as appropriate for the <br />effective guidance and direction of the department as deemed <br />necessary; and that while acting in the capacity of Acting <br />Supervisors members so designated shall be compensated at the <br />hourly rate plus top longevity for Step 3, Police Sergeant. <br /> <br />Adopted this 26th day of Fphrll:"lry' 1990. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />~J2a~~ <br /> <br />David Childs, City Manager <br /> <br />,.
