<br />-.... <br /> <br />'!- <br />,/0, <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />w. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />, I <br />-"" I <br />\ <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-0S <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />~I <br />I <br />i <br />, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE FEES, <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 87-128. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code Sections 4-96, 4-112, 4-115, <br />and 4-202 the City council established certain fees relating to <br />applications for liquor licenses by Resolution No. 87-128' <br />adopted December 8, 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it is appropriate <br />and in the best interest of the public to modify Resolution No. <br />87-128 as hereinafter provided. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of New Brighton that: <br /> <br />1. Effective January 1, 1990 paragraph 3 of Resolution <br />87-128 is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor Large Restaurants: <br />Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000.00) plus One Hundred <br />Dollars ($100.00) for each one hundred (100) square <br />feet, or part thereof, of "interior public area", in <br />excess of five thousand (5,000) square feet; provided, <br />however, that the fee for "interior pUblic area" in <br />excess of five thousand (5,000) square feet the fee <br />shall be Thirty-three Dollars ($33.00) for each one <br />hundred square feet or part thereof of such "interior <br />public area" which meets all of the following require- <br />ments as demonstrated by the applicant, based on the <br />prior license year: <br /> <br />a. Such "interior public area" is a room which is <br />separated from the usual bar and restaurant area <br />and is used primarily for special scheduled <br />events of organized groups. <br /> <br />b. The licensee is a non-profit corporation. <br /> <br />c. A majority of events conducted in such room do <br />not include or involve the sale of intoxicating <br />liquor, non-intoxicating liquor, or wine. <br /> <br />d. On at least twenty five percent (25%) of the days <br />on which such room is used, the room is used <br />without charge by a non-profit, charitable, <br />educational, governmental, or community organiza- <br />tion other than the licensee. <br /> <br />2.
