<br />t <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />~ ,- <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />New Brighton, Minnesota, was duly called and held in the Council Chambers in said City on the <br />?5th day of Apri 1 , 1989 at New Bri qhton, MN <br /> <br />The fOllowing members were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke <br />Councilmembers: <br />Brandt <br />Gunderman <br />Larson <br />Williams <br />The following members were absent: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />Councilmember Gun de r man <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RQ-60 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY <br />TO RESTRICT PARKING ALONG A PORTION OF Old Highway #8 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County has planned the improvement of Old Highway 8 (CSAH <br />77) from 1-694 to north city limits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County will be expending County State Aid Highway funds <br />(S.A.P. 62-677-16) on the improvement of said street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said improvement does not conform to the approved minimum <br />standards as previously adopted for such County State Aid streets and that approval <br />of the proposed construction as a County State Aid street project must, therefore, <br />be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions, that would be a necessary <br />prerequisite to the approval of this construction as a County State Aid project in <br />the City, has been determined. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City requests the <br />County to restrict the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of Old Highway 8 from <br />1-694 to north city limits. <br /> <br />Seconded by Ben k e <br /> <br />Ayes - 5 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA ) <br />) <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) 88. <br />) <br />CITY OF New Brighton ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and appointed Clerk of the City of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have carefullY compared the attached and foregoing extract <br />of minutes of a regular meeting of the City of .~w B:ilS~t~n. <br /> <br />~- ~ta<<1t~/-- <br />. - City Ctrk_ <br /> <br />FF NP RES <br />
