t., 1 RESOLUTION NO. 89-3.. 2 8 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT DONATELLE WATERMAIN EXTENSION, PROJECT 88-26. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment of the improvement of: LOCATION: The benefitted properties bounded by County Road E2 on the north, 5th Avenue NW on the west, 2nd Street NW on the south and I -35W on the east. BY: The construction of watermain. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the ,City of New Brighton, Minnesota: 1. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Ramsey County Data Processing Improvement No. 5842, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed imp!'ovement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 10 years, the first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1990, and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.5 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment resolution. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the County Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case made and provided. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the property tax list of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over the same manner as other municipal taxes.
