<br />.. <br /> <br />'.t <br /> <br />!" -~! <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89 - 106 <br /> <br />STATE OF MI:NNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGH'IDN <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF OPTICAL EMITI'ERS <br /> <br />Whereas, the 1988 Budget contained an appropriation for a project to <br />equip twelve traffic signals with emergency vehicle pre-empt equiprrent; <br /> <br />Whereas, 1.ll1der earlier Co1.ll1cil action, approval was obtained for adapting <br />the traffic control devices; <br /> <br />Whereas, for the vehicle emitters Co1.ll1cil authorization is now recruested; <br /> <br />Whereas, quotations have been received from 3M Corporation and Lewin <br />Engineering; <br /> <br />Whereas, the 1.ll1it price from 3M is $1300. while the quotation from Lewin <br />is for $633.; <br /> <br />Now, therefore be it resolved that: <br /> <br />1. The optical emitters shall be obtained from Lewin Engineering <br />at a 1.ll1it price of $633. <br /> <br />2.
