<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, December 22, 1998, <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Old Highway 8 NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Hoffman, Larson, and Samuelson. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Su Arntz, Assistant to the City Manager <br />Margaret Egan, Finance Director <br />Matthew Fulton, City Manager <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director <br />Cary Teague, City Planner <br /> <br />Council A~enda <br /> <br />Gunderman added an item to the Special Order of Business agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Hoffman, to APPROVE THE AMENDED <br />COUNCIL AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE NOVEMBER 30 AND DECEMBER 7, 1998, COUNCIL <br />MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Economic Development <br />Commission - November 10, 1998; Park, Recreation, and Environmental Commission- <br />October 7, 1998; and Planning Commission - November 17, 1998. <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />The following members of the 1998-1999 Stockyard Days Royal Family introduced <br />themselves: Queen Cory Chatfield, Princess Katie Tooley, Princess Kristine Atchison, <br />Junior Queen Monica McMahan, Junior Princess Christina Brauer, ConUllodore Jordan <br />Brauer, and Junior Vice Commodore Nicholas DeNuccio.
