STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON (generally south of Rice Creek Road and west of Silver Lake Road (across from Brightwood Hills Golf Course). WHEREAS the City of New Brighton has been requested to subdivide certain property in the City of New Brighton described as follows: PARCEL I: The East Half of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, except the following described tracts: 1. The north 440 feet of said E 1/2, E 1/2; 2. The south 135 feet of the east 161 feet of said E 1/2, E 1/2; 3. That part platted as CARPE DIEM. PARCEL 2: The north 440 feet of the East 1/4 of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, subject to roads. WHEREAS the State Statues require that if such property is located in municipalities that have adopted a platting ordinance, approval of that municipality must be obtained before such subdivisions can be filed, and WHEREAS Section 26-24 of the New Brighton City Code provides for subdivision of property without platting if certain criteria can be met; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton that the Council approves subdivision of the above described property into parcels described as follows: PARCEL 1: The East Half of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, except the following described tracts: 1. The north 440 feet of the said East Half of the East Half; 2. The south 135 feet of the east 167 feet of said East Half of the East Half. 3. That part platted as CARPE DIEM. Together with the following described property: Beginning at the southeast corner of the north 440 feet of the East Half of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the South_est Quarter of Section 18, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota; thence South 89 degrees 26' 55" West, assumed bearing, 331.04 feet along the south line of the north 440 feet; thence North 00 degrees 56' 28" East 136.36 feet along the west line of the north 440 feet; thence South 89 degrees 02' 10" East 330.98 feet; thence South 00 degrees 57' 50" West 127.61 feet along the east line of the north 440 feet to the point of beginning. PARCEL 2: The North 440 feet of the East Half of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, subject to roads. i: I' II
