<br />'l...,: ... <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />!I. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />86-38 <br /> <br />:1 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SP-132 (for a sign plan for <br />Silver Lake Road Shopping Center). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for a special use permit has been made by <br />'i Kraus-Anderson; and <br />;: <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Ii WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br /> <br />1. That an application for a special use permit was filed with the <br />City on March 27, 1986. <br /> <br />;; <br /> <br />2. That the Planning Commission, pursuant to pUblished and mailed <br />notices, held a public hearing on April 15, 1986, all persons <br />present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. <br /> <br />~. ; <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That the application for a special use permit was reviewed by the <br />City Council on April 22, 1986, and the comments and analysis of <br />City Staff and Planning Commission minutes and recommendations <br />were considered. <br /> <br />! <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the following <br />Findings of Fact are made in respect to SP-132: <br /> <br />I. That the property is zoned B-2, neighborhood business. <br /> <br />2. That the building orientation is to the north and many tenants' <br />wall signs are not visible from Silver Lake Road. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That the proposed sign plan is consistent with Section 9-150 (d) <br />of the sign ordinance in that the plan provides sound <br />identification and is compatible with surrounding land uses, is <br />not detrimental to public safety and will not impede orderly <br />placement of signs. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the application SP-132 is and hereby <br />approved subject to the following condition: <br /> <br />1.
