-, Councilmember Schmidt introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 86-22 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENLARGEMENT OF DEVEL- OPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the Ci ty of New Br ighton, Minnesota (the "Ci ty" ), as fol- lows: Section 1. Recitals. 1.01. It has been proposed that the City modify by enlargement its Development District No.1, pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 472A, as amended. 1.02. The Council has investigated the facts and has caused to be prepared a proposal defining more precisely the property to be added to Development District No.1. 1.03. The City has performed all actions required by law to be performed prior to the enlargement of Development District No.1, including, but not limited to, a review by the City Planning Commission of the proposed enlargement of Development District No. 1 and the holding of a public hear- ing upon published notice as required by law. Section 2. Findings for the Enlargement of Development District No.1. 2.01. The Council hereby finds that the modification by enlargement of Development District No. 1 is intended and, in the judgment of this Council, its effect will be, to provide an impetus for commercial and industrial development in the City, to increase employment, and otherwise further promote certain public purposes and accomplish certain objectives as specified in the Modified Development Program. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Gunderman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ->
