<br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, April <br />13, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Larson, Rebelein and Williams. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />David Childs, City Manager <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director <br />Erny Mattila, City Planner <br /> <br />Council Aaenda <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Williams, to APPROVE THE COUNCIL <br />AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes. 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Gunderman, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND APPROVE THE MARCH 23, 1993, COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />I 5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Cable <br />Commission. February 16, 1993; and Park Board. March 3, 1993. <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />Council deferred the resolution of commendation for the Irondale Seventh <br />Grade Girls Traveling Basketball Team to the April 27 meeting. <br /> <br />Julie Beisswenger presented to the City on permanent loan a photograph of <br />the historic Exchange Building for display at City Hall. The Exchange <br />Building, known as the Cattlemen's Hotel, was built in the late 1890's to <br />house cattlemen during the early stockyard and packing house.
