<br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, <br />October 22, 1991, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Larson, Rebelein and Williams. <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: David Fridgen, City Sanitarian <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director <br />Erny Mattila, City Planner <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Gunderman, to APPROVE THE COUNCIL <br />AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Larson, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND APPROVE THE AMENDED OCTOBER 8. 1991, COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Citizen <br />Study Commission. September 25, 1991; Human Rights Commission - <br />September 24, 1991; Park Board - October 2, 1991; Environmental <br />Quality Commission - September 11, 1991; and Planning Commission - <br />September 1 7, 1991. <br /> <br />Soecial Order of Business <br /> <br />Council thanked Stockyard Days President Dick Pellow and Antique Car <br />Run President Marilyn Walhof for each organizations' efforts in bringing <br />together the first combined Stockyard Days/Antique Car Run Celebration. <br /> <br />Mr. Pellow thanked the City for its efforts during Stockyard Days and <br />presented two plaques to Council.
