<br />,. <br /> <br />'S <br /> <br />" <br />:! <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO 85-103 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SP-127 (CitY <br />,: Hall Expansion) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for a special use permit has been <br />made by the City of New Brighton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published and I <br />mailed notices, held a public hearing on August 20, 1985, I <br />all person's present at the hearing were given an ! <br />opportunity to be heard. <br />3. That the application for a special use permit, SP-127, <br />was reviewed by the City Council on August 27, 1985 and <br />that the comments and analysis of Staff and the Planning <br />Commission minutes and recommendation were considered. <br /> <br />1. That an application for a special use permit was filed <br />with the City on August 2, 1985. <br /> <br /> 1 . <br /> 2. <br />i <br />:' <br /> 3. <br /> 4. <br /> 5. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the <br />following Findings of Fact are made in respect to SP-127: <br /> <br />That the site is zoned B-4,Downtown Business. <br />That the regulations of the downtown business district <br />specify that there shall be no expansion of buildings <br />without a special use permit. <br />That the expansion of City Hall is consistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan, the special use standards and the <br />general B-3 zoning regulations. <br />That the expansion of City Hall is essential to maintian <br />efficient services to New Brighton residents. <br />That the expansion of City Hall will enhance downtown <br />redevelopment efforts. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the application is and hereby <br />;, recommended for approval subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />i <br />I <br />, <br />i <br /> <br />1. Subject to review and comment by the Park Board on the I <br />landscape plan. ; <br />2. That the site plan for City Hall and the park improvementsl <br />show areas where additional parking can be constructed. ! <br />3.
