RESOLUTION NO 85-60 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON (generally the southwest corner of Old I, Highway 8 and 1st Street NW) WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton has been requested to subdivide certain property in the City of New Brighton described as follows: The West 530.68 feet of the South! of the Southeast! of the Southwest! of Section 29, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota lying Southerly of 1st Street NW (County Road "E"). Subject to the East 15 feet thereof for sanitary sewer easement. and That part of the South ! of the South i of the Southeast I I of the Southwest L lying East of the West 530.68 feet there-Ii of and West of State Highway No.8 of Section 29, Township I 30, Range 23, according to the recorded plat thereof on file I and of record in the office of the Registered of Deeds in I and for said County. I i I ! , I I Ci ty Code provi desl certain criteria : I i WHEREAS, State Statutes require that if such property is located in municipalities that have adopted a platting ordinance, approval of that municipality must be obtained before such subdivisions can be filed, and WHEREAS, Section 26-24 of the New Brighton for subdivision of property wihtout platting if can be met; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that such criteria has been met. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton that the Council approved subdivision of the above described property into parcels described as follows: TRACT A The West 530.68 feet of the South! of the Southeast! of the Southwest! of Section 29, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota lying Southerly of 1st Street NW (County Road "E"). Subject to the East 15 feet thereof for sanitary sewer easement. That part of the South !of the South ! of the Southeast! of the Southwest! of Section 29, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota lying East of the West 530.68 feet thereof and lying West of the following described line: Beginning at a point on the South line of said South! of the South , of the Southeast ! of the Southwest ! distant 728.19 feet East of the Southwest corner thereof; thence North 19051'41" West (assumed bearing of South line of said South! of the South! of the Southeast! of the Southwest! is North 89038'49" West) a distance of 132.74 feet; thence Northwesterly to a point on the North line of said South! of the South! of the Southeast! of the Southwest! distant 535.37 feet East of the Northwest corner thereof and said line there terminating Subject to 1st Street NW.
