<br />!I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.aS-53 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SP-122. <br /> <br />Ii <br />I: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for a special use permit has been <br />made by Mike Rasmusson and Don Dickison; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as <br />'follows: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />That an application for a special use permit was filed : <br />with the City on May 5, 1985. I <br />That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published and I <br />mailed notices, held a public hearing on May 21, 1985, I <br />all person's present at the hearing were given an oppor- I <br />tunity to be heard. . ! <br />That the application for a special use permit, SP-122 was I <br />reviewed by the City Council on May 28, 1985 and that the I <br />comments and analysis of staff and the Planning Commission <br />minutes and recommendations were considered. ; <br />I <br />WHEREAS, the property is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That part of the S 1/2 of the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 <br />of the SW 1/4 of Section 29, Town 30, Range 23, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota lying West of the West <br />right-of-way line of County Road No. 77 (formerly <br />State Highway No.8) and lying East of the following <br />described line: Beginning at a point on the South <br />line of said S 1/2 of the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the <br />SW 1/4 distant 728.19 feet East of the Southwest <br />cor n e r the reo f ; thence North 1 90 5 1 I 4 1 "W est (assumed <br />bearing of South line of said S 1/2 of the S 1/2 of <br />the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 is North 89038149" West) <br />a distance of 132.74 feet; thence Northwesterly to a <br />point on the North line of said S 1/2 of the S 1/2 of <br />the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 distant 535.37 feet East of <br />the Northwest corner thereof and said line there ter- <br />minating. Subject to 1st Street NW. <br /> <br />. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the <br />following Findings of Fact are made in respect to SP-122: <br /> <br />1. That the property is zoned 1-3, Limited Industrial <br />District and is to be developed as an office/warehouse <br />complex. <br />2. That the building will have multiple occupancy with <br />individual entrances. <br />3. That the three sided ground sign is appropriate for its <br />corner location and will be visible from only one <br />direction at a time. <br />4. That all signage will conform the height and size re- <br />quirements of the sign ordinance. <br />5. That the proposed sign plan is consistent and compatible <br />with the purpose of the sign ordinance in that it reduces <br />clutter, provides sound identification and will be <br />aesthetically pleasing. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the application SP-122 is and <br />hereby approved subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That all wall signs facing a public street be of <br />individual letters of the same size, color and <br />lettering type. <br />2.
