I I i I I I I I i WHEREAS, an application for a preliminary plat has been made I by Edwin Taylor; and I RESOLUTION NO.~-49 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OR RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON II WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: l. That an application for a preliminary plat was filed with the City on March 29, 1985. 2. That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing on May 21, 1985, all person's present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. 3. That the application for PUD approval was reviewed by the City Council on May 28. 1985 and that the comments and analysis of Staff and the Planning Commission minutes and recommendations were considered. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to PL-l40: That the property is zoned 1-1, light industrial. That the property is 9.7 acres in size located south of I Highway 96, north of Lowy Enterprises, east of Old Hi9hWayl 8 and west of I-35W. That the site is presently made up of five parcels, now all under the control of the appl i cant. That the preliminary plat meets the subdivision require- ments of Chapter 26 of the City Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the application PL-l40 is and hereby approved subject to the following conditions: 1 . 2. 3. 4. l' l. That the plat be titled as a First Addition. 2. That the legal description of the proposed new lots be indicated by lot and block of a specified subdivision. 3. That the a~plicant resolve with the State the vacation of the existing drainage easement on the site and the purchase of additional right-of-way at the intersection of Old Highway 8 and Highway 96.
