<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />NEW BRIGHTON CITY COUNCIL <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />APRIL 9, 1991 <br /> <br />The meeting was held in the North Conference Room of City Hall. In attendance <br />were the following: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Dana Rebelein <br />Councilmember Roger Williams <br />Councilmember Arlyn Gunderman <br />Councllmember Steve Larson <br />Charles LeFevere, City Attorney, with the firm of Holme's and Graven <br />Mary Dobbins, Attorney, with the firm of Holmes and Graven <br />Dave Childs, City Manager <br />Kevin Locke, Director of Community Development <br /> <br />Thl;: {neetlng was called to order at approximately 9:00 p.m. by Acting Mayor Dana <br />Rebeleln. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />The City's attorneys described the proposed settlement agreement concerning the <br />lawsuit filed by A. Thomas Oswalt against the City of New Brighton. The lawsuit <br />is Court File #L5~89-2043 in Ramsey County District Court. The advantages and <br />disadvantages of the proposed settlement were discussed by the City <br />Councilmembers, City staff, and City attorneys. <br /> <br />. Motion by Williams, seconded by Rebelein to APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE <br />EXECUTION BY THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER OF A SETTLEMENT <br />AGREEMENT WITH CONDITIONS DESCRIBED BY THE CITY ATTORNEYS. <br /> <br />3 Ayes - 1 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Larson, seconded by Williams to ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:21 p.m. <br />
