RESOLUTION NO. 07-014 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRJGHTON RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY, ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENTS, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CITY PROJECT 07-3, OLD HIGHWAY 8 NW RECONSTRUCTION WHEREAS, on August 22, 2006 the City Council approved the Old Highway 8 Geometric Layout, authorized staff to prepare and solicit proposals for fmal design professional services, and authorized staff to prepare a project feasibility study with reference to the construction of Project 07- 3, Old Highway 8 NW Reconstruction in 2007; and WHEREAS, On October 24, 2006, the City Council accepted proposal. and authorize staff to enter into a contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates (KHA) for final design services for City Project 07-03, Old Highway 8 NW Reconstruction; and WHEREAS, this feasibility study, dated February 22, 2007, has been prepared by the Director of Public Works, completed, and presented to the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE LET 1T BE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton: 1. The City Council has received and accepted the feasibility study prepared by the Engineering Department for the construction of the Improvement 07-3, Old Highway 8 NW Reconstruction, outlining the proposed schedule and the estimated cost. 2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this Council Resolution. 3. The plans and specifications of City Project 07-3 are hereby approved. 4. That the Engineering Department and Kimley-Horn and Associates is hereby authorized to advance City Project 07-3 and is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for said project.
