y <br />~~ <br />PARK BOARD MINUTES <br />January 10, 1977 <br />The Park Board meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Chairperson <br />Gunderman. ~ ~ .. <br />Board members present: Cook, Dahl, Gunderman, Kern, Smith, Sullivan <br />and Council Representative Senden. <br />Board members absent: done. <br />Others present: Alan TrJestling, Mary Medved, Dale Seppa and Mike <br />Pisansky. <br />Dahl corrected minutes of November 29, 1976 (page 2, item ~1) to read: <br />l.) The community planning sessions should be divided geographi- <br />cally according to park locations. <br />Long Lake Planning <br />There was considerable discussion regarding the role of the Park <br />Board in the planning process. It was determined that staff would <br />gather technical data and the Board would be responsible for <br />generating and gathering citizen input into the planning process. <br />The attached flow chart was established. <br />1977 -81 Capital Improvements Plan <br />Staff reviewed the plan as adopted by the City Council at the <br />November 29 meeting. <br />Silver Oak Planning <br />Staff reviewed the process that had been :followed in developing a <br />plan with the St. Anthony School District and area residents. Dale <br />Seppa and Mike Pisansky expressed appreciation to the City Council <br />for funding the additional $9,000.00 not funded by the school district. <br />Pike Lake P.T.A. <br />A request from the Pike Lake School P.T.A, for point planning of <br />playground improvement was discussed. Staff indicated they would <br />contact the P.T.A. for further information. <br />
