* • <br />PARK BOARD MINUTES <br />January i4, 1970 <br />ThP meeting was called to order at B:OO p.m. <br />Present: Dahl, Hagemeyer, Hansen, Morris, Schaefer, Hefty, Brauer <br />and Associates; and New member Arlyn Gunderman <br />The. minutes of December 10, 1969 were accepted as printed. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Ar1yn Gunderman was introduced as the new member. of the Park Board <br />3-year term and took his seat immediately. <br />LETTER REGARDING LOT SUNNYSIDE HEIGHTS ADJACENT TO SUNNYSIDE PARK <br />A letter was presented by the Manager, dated January 5, 1970, from <br />the Village Attorney discussing the offer of sale of a parcel of land <br />adjacent to Sunnyside park. The Board considered the letter. No <br />action was taken; however, the Board will consider the matter at its <br />next regular meeting. <br />CHANGE - LAKE REGION HOCKEY SCHEDULE <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Hagemeyer to amend original action <br />setting hours for Lake Region Hockey Association by providing use for <br />Lake Region Hockey Association of rinks betweBn the hours of 6 and $ p.m~ <br />for the balance of the season at all rinks on week days Monday thru <br />Friday. <br />Gunderman, Hagemeyer, Morris -.Aye <br />Dahl, Hansen - Naye Carried <br />Weissman appeared 8:47 p.m. <br />RICE CREEK SITE REVISED CONCEPT PLAN <br />The revised concept plan for the Rice Creek Park site was presented.. <br />The Manager was requested to obtain copies of the proposed engineering <br />plans for crossing of Rice Creek at Mississippi for the next Park <br />Board meeting. <br />Motion by Hansen, seconded by Dahl to forward Rice Creek concept plan <br />to the Council Carried <br />Motion by Hansen, seconded by Dahl that the area north of Erin Court <br />(computed to be about 6 lots) be sold as residential lots,~~th t the <br />revenue of the sale be held as Park monies and that the-c~~es issued <br />in connection of sale reveal that the land south of Erin Court should <br />be used as parking lot and park area and that after bids have been <br />received on this property, they be referred to the Park Board for <br />recommendation to the Council <br />5 ayes - 1 naye (Weissman) Carried <br />
