NEW BRIGHTON PARK BOARD MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 28, 19.83 <br />I. TYi'e meeting was called to order at 7:45 pm by Chairperson Gunderman. <br />II. A.11 members were present <br />III. The. minutes of the September 7th meeting were approved as submitted. <br />IV. Correspondence <br />A. Council Report. <br />Councilman Blomquist reported the following: <br />-The council has ordered a referendum on modification <br />of the fire station <br />-The council has reviewed the preliminary proposal for <br />a residential/commercial .project on 10th St. <br />-The budget has been approved, a mill increase will <br />occur because of reduced state aids <br />B. Long Lake Advisory Committee <br />Ellen Dahl. reported that the. LLAC heard proposals to investigate <br />the Long Lake site for historical remains and to preserve as <br />much as possible. .The .committee supported both requests. <br />C. Letter from Bruce and Valerie Goldner <br />The board received the letter (,attached). M. Pederson will <br />follow up and see if he can. provide the necessary information.. <br />D. Long Fake Improvement Association Flyer <br />Concern was expressed that positive information on the park <br />development should be publicized. M. Anderson will contact <br />Wagner and Nagle. It was also requested that information <br />on the proposed .19.84 budget be prepared and disiminated. <br />V. New Business <br /> None <br />VI. Old Business <br /> None. <br />VII.
